Houston, TX | 2023
This conservation-focused exhibit showcases the wonders of the Galapagos Islands ecosystem with exhibits on Galapagos tortoises, California sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and bonnethead sharks. Our scope included lighting design for animal exhibits, visitor pathways, the gift shop, ticketing, North Entry Plaza, and back-of-house areas. Our lighting design approach focused on balancing animal habitat lighting needs with the visitor experience. Our work on this project also included developing a lighting control system and focusing the lighting after installation.
